Shield helps TDSi team achieve MBO

In early 2005, Shield advised the TDSi management team on the acquisition of TDSi (Time and Data Systems International Limited), one of the world's leading manufacturers of access control security systems.

A leader and innovator in state of the art access control and integrated security solutions, the acquisition of the business from Upperpoint Manufacturing Limited signals an exciting new phase for the company.

TDSi manages its own worldwide distributor and dealer network in 30 countries with a significant proportion of sales derived from exports. More than 20,000 sites worldwide use TDSi solutions and more than one million people carry TDSi access cards.
